Heat Treat Certification
Heat Treating ensures that any unwanted little travelers are removed from the wood. This makes our pallets safe for food products and exportation.
Wayne Pallets, Inc. uses a heat chamber where artificial heat is added until the pallet, crate, or lumber achieves a minimum core temperature of 56 °C or 132.8°F for a minimum of 30 minutes.
The product is then marked with a WPM stamp. Wayne Pallets, Inc. has chosen not to fumigate any product and does not have a stamp with a MB marking. We do not utilize bromated phenols in out heat treat process.
This makes our pallets TBA and TBP free.
